Galactrum Block Structure

Galactrum’s block reward structure is designed to be both simple to understand and effective at combating inflation. Galactrum starts with a 10 ORE block reward, and has a halving era duration of 1,314,000 blocks (approximately 5 years). This means that every 5 years, the block reward will be cut in half. With a maximum precision of 8 decimal places, it would take 32 halving eras (approximately 160 years) before the block reward reaches zero.

Below you will find several tables and charts to help better understand the block reward structure.

Reward Breakdown

Every time a block is found, the block reward will be split between a miner and a masternode. The table below shows how the block reward will be distributed at each height.

Block Structure

The table below summarizes Galactrum’s block structure, showing how the reward changes with every halving era, as well as the total amount of ORE created and the circulating supply. At the end of the 32nd halving era (in approximately 160 years), the maximum supply of ORE will be reached at 26,280,000 ORE.
